1991
The SPF chicken production facility was completed and trial production was initiated.
1993
The SPF eggs produced comply with the standards set by the Ministry of Health's National Institutes for Food and Drug Control (NIFDC) for use in measles vaccine production for children.
1997
Beijing Meria-Vital Laboratory Animal Technology Co., Ltd. was established as a Sino-foreign joint venture of the Boehringer Ingelheim Group, mainly engaged in the production and sales of SPF eggs, chicken embryos and chickens.
2017
The name was changed to Beijing Boehringer Ingelheim Vital Biotechnology Co. Ltd.
2021
The Jiangsu manufacturing site has officially began operations。
